With the Black Sequencer, Erica Synths combines the directness of a classic Analoguesequencer with modern, intuitive control and memory. Four CV/Gate/Mod tracks are output in parallel. The mod outputs can generate an envelope or LFO in addition to the velocity. A total of 256 patterns can be stored, which corresponds to 16 banks of 16 memory locations each. A pattern combines all four tracks. The maximum step length of a pattern is 64 steps. Since the display can show the values of all 16 knobs at the same time, you always have a good overview of the running sequence. With Bar you switch to the next respectively. previous 16 steps. The knobs are click encoders, ie.r making parameter jumps unnecessary and at the same time gates are set by pressing them. In addition, each step in the Erica Synths Black Sequencer is programmable with probability, repeat and ratcheting.

In addition, each track can be programmed with an individual divider/multiplier, shuffle and a quantizer respectively. its own tone scale. On the connection side there are twelve outputs for CV, gate and mod as well as several inputs and outputs for clock, reset and even MIDI. The latter is done with a TRS-MIDI adapter.
